The Arcadia Foundation addresses public opinion with the purpose of condemning emphatically the event in which a Venezuelan murdered an Ecuadorian citizen in the City of Ibarra, Ecuador. This abominable crime must be condemned by all sectors of society. All the weight of the Law must fall on this Venezuelan citizen, always with the observance of due process that imposes an exemplary punishment.

Arcadia Foundation, always interested in defending the fundamental rights of the most vulnerable, reaffirms its unrestricted support for Honduran women victims of violence, a delicate and complex reality in relation to which, regrettably, systematic impunity still prevails. It is always intended to hide the obvious, hide a reality that every day throws data and stats that make evident the situation of serious violence, where femicide is the last link in the chain.

Judges from the Venezuela Court should be brought to Justice according to Arcadia Foundation

On April 2, 2017, Arcadia Foundation submitted a communiqué to report that the Venezuelan Court has broken the Rule of Law and the constitutional order through the articles 155 and 156. Therefore, Judges from the Court should now be brought to Justice due to the act of aggression committed.

Ramos-Allup

Arcadia Foundation submitted a Letter to Ramos Allup concerning the political crisis in Venezuela

On March 31, 2017, Robert Carmona-Borjas, CEO of Arcadia Foundation, submitted a letter to Henry Ramos Allup to request a report about the political crisis of Venezuela and the state of human rights in the country. He also stated that such report should be sent to the Secretary General of the Organization of American States.

On March 1, 2017, Robert Carmona-Borjas, CEO of Arcadia Foundation, submitted a letter to Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OEA), concerning Venezuelan Court’s Sentence on National Assembly, which has been dissolved by decree of the Court.
